Suggestions

I suggest you read; "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green.

I suggest you listen to "I Will Wait" by Mumford and Sons.

I suggest you cut up tiny pieces of green apple, dose em with cinnamon and put it in the microwave.

I suggest you bake yourself some pumpkin bread or pumpkin cupcakes.

I suggest you read poetry and memorize some because it might come in handy some day.

I suggest you read a Psalm today, because Psalms are great mood refreshers.

I suggets you drink a cup of Green tea because it's delicious and good for you.

I suggest you smile at yourself in the mirror at least once today.

I suggest you give some one a highfive for the fun of it.

I suggest you look up Vincent Van Gogh's art work.

I suggest you learn one new phrase in French.

I suggest you write. About write-worthy people. I'll expound on that in a moment.

So once upon a time I wrote a post about writing about people.
I am a big believer in writing about people.
So, I figured there were a few people who will probably never see this.
And I will probably never see again.
But they need to be written about.
This may seem weird to you, but I have to.

So, to the nurse who had the big loud laugh. This is for you. Thank-you. You made me smile. The nurse who kept saying I needed toys and eventually gave me toys, in which my dog did love.
You were right. Thank you for telling me I was pretty even though I had no make up on and looked like crap on a hospital bed. Thanks for telling me I looked like Evan's girlfriend on Royal Pains even though she's a blonde with blue eyes and looks nothing like me.
You still made me day and you are memorable.
I won't forget you.

So, the Doctor who talked like Donald Duck. Thank-you. I didn't really like you very much if I'm being honest, but thats because I think you thought I was younger than I am. Either that or you were trying to be funny when I was too tired to get things. But either way, I like that you were Donald Duck anyway. Because you were a character and life needs more of those. And thanks for saying "I don't ever want to see you again unless it's at a Ray's game" every time you saw me. Because even though some people say a joke isn't funny after the 100th time, I think that joke became funny on the 100th time. I hope I don't ever see you again unless it's at a Ray's game.

To the nurse who obsessed over the padded railings and to the nurse who rolled your eyes at the person who was obsessed over the padded railings and also insulted my dog without meaning to, Thank You.

I think I'm done writing about people you'll never know.
I think I'm done writing about people I only ever met once.
But I hope you write about someone tonight.
Or in the morning.
Or tomorow afternoon.
Or some time.
Some time.
Some time you should write about someone.
Anyone.
They deserve to be written about.

  1. I'm glad you like Mumford and Sons too! I really need to re-listen to their songs. (Ever heard "Home" by Philip Phillips? It sounds a lot like a Mumford and Sons song. It's kind of addicting. :)

OH! IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE!!!! You would not believe how many people I know who haven't seen that movie! Gosh, I love that film. It's one of my absolute favorite Christmas movies of all time. *sigh* Jimmy Stewart... Was a brilliant actor.

I've been meaning to read The Fault in Our Stars forever!

It's surprising how many people can make our day without knowing it :)

  4. I think I will write about someone. :) Oh and question, is there anything offensive in "The Fault in Our Stars"? Because I've heard great things about it, but I'm careful about what I read. Blessings!

  6. You know, this is a good list for those days when you have the whole day to do whatever . . . like Saturdays, instead of milling around waiting for someting to happen, I should go make it happen.
Green apples doused with cinnamon, never tried that, but I have microwaved cookies before. (They were slightly frozen, but then they tasted almost freshly baked!)
Writing about people, that's good, because we all meet those kind of people . . . I think I'll do that.
P.s. and about the 100th time joke, Yes! That's happened to me too! Now I thoughoughly enjoy it!
