Happy Fall Weekend

Hello. I'm going to tell you my weekend in words.
My weekend had it's ups and downs, but you don't get to choose that in life.
You only get to choose what you focus on and how you handle it.
So, I'm choosing to focus on the good parts. :)

Before I describe my days, I wnated to share with you a photography blog you will NOT regret following. So follow and give her the love she deserves. :) She's amazing.
Sleeping In.
Wendy's Lunch.
Pumpkin Pancakes for Dinner.
Oliver and Company and Big Ray's Improv.
Fun time with good friends from different places all sitting at one table.

The First day of Fall.
Fall Church Work Day.
Going out to Panera with a Good Friend.
Pumpkin Spice Latte(not qutie as delish as Starbucks...) and Pumpkin Pie Bagel.
Barnes and Nobles.
A Clean Room.

Leepa Rattner Musuem.
Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks.
Testimony Night.
Rocking out in Rocking Chairs.
Vampire eyes.
A Pink Baseball Bat.

That was basically the good parts of my weekend. Which were pretty significant and can make you happy despite the bad moments which lies down by the side of the good moments. It's all about perspective and praising God no matter what happens in life. That's what I'm learning. This morning, I had another seizure. I went to the Emergency Room and stayed there for the majority of the early morning hours. It's not pleasant, going through things like that. But really, it's not the end of the world. You keep going and moving forward and you'll forget that it happened soon enough. I think the most important part is to focus on God and make sure you have the right attitude when trials happen. I don't always have the right attitude, but I'm aiming for it.
I want to be a light.
I want people to notice the difference in me.
How was your weekend? :)

  1. i pray you are doing okay soph. it sounds like you had a nice weekend though- glad to hear it :)

  2. Since it was too cold to do anything here, we just stayed home. Which is always nice. but it sounds like you had fun!

  3. Sorry to hear you had another seizure. Glad to hear you have a good perspective on it though. If nothing else, at least you get to wear a wicked-cool ID bracelet because of it. ;)

  4. Aww, you're too sweet! = D I'm still working on that button idea...
Rocking out in rocking chairs! I've gotta do that sometime...
I echo Jed's comments, you practice what you preach, that's the best example. =) You're inspirational.

  5. I love the pictures under Sunday. <3 Friends are epic. <3
I'm sorry to hear you had another seizure. *hug* You're such an inspiration to me, Sophie! You are so sweet and you just let Christ shine through your writing. Love! <3
