Music Tuesdays

Life is so busy sometimes.
People just walk by and don't listen even though there's noise all around us.
Right now I hear the tip tap of the keyboard.
I hear my sister flipping through a page in her book.
I hear the air conditioning silently humming.
I hear the sound of coffee being consumed.
I'm listening, and there is so much to hear.

So, today, along with pictures, I thought I'd give you the gift of music.
Good music.
Music you may or may not have heard of before.
I think even today, people listen to music without listening to music.
They put on whatever is popular and catchy and in.
Today, I'm going to enlighten you with a mix of different songs.
New and Old.
I'm going to ask you to take some time and listen to it today.
Music is created for one sole purpose:
To be listened to.
So do that.
Listen.

  4. You like country music, don't you? Haha. There are some good artists on this list... love Imogen Heap, David Cook, Colton Dixon, and Coldplay.

Right now I hear the sound of a lawnmower-the landscape guys are tending the grounds at work today. I also hear the murmur of voices in my boss' office. I hear the buzz of office computers. I hear my favorite co-worker, a 67 year old guy, drinking coffee. I hear my new shoes squeak when I walk.

Makes me think of the movie August Rush. Ever seen it?

    Have a fab day :)

  5. I love this so much, Sophie. :) The pictures... the way you put them together is so heart-warming. And Hallelujah by Castro and Piano Man by Colton Dixon are *amazing* (probably my two favorite idols ever). And I love some of those other songs too. The ones I don't know I need to listen to. :) Thank you for sharing!
