Photographs

Hey June,
I know we don't know each other well, but I like you already.
I also liked May though, May was good.
This past week I had two photoshoots, got some beach time, drank some Vintage Cola from Heritage Village, watched the Muppets and the Swan Princess, goofed around with my sister, played Scat (An awesome card game ), worked at a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser, sipped some coffee, watched America's Next Top Model re-runs, bought a Peter Pan tank top, got new bed sheets, went to Church and Young Adult Bible Study, sang a duet with my sister, enjoyed the rain, hung out with my friend Nora ( we watched Brave ), made a French Toast Casserole, and that about sums up my last week in May and my beginning week of June.

Life is exciting. :)

Here's some photos from my second photoshoot taken in Botanical Gardens/ Heritage Village. I also have a photography page up. It's on facebook, so if you have a facebook, I would reallllly really appreciate it if you'd like my page and share it with your friends especially if you know of people looking for a photographer.

The thing I love about photography is that it gets you to change perspectives and see things in a more beautiful way. It makes you imagine and create and appreciate beauty.
I finally got my contacts in, and I tell you what.
It's something else when you're outside and can actually see the definition of each grass blade, the crow flying way across the lake, the little turtle peeping it's head out of the water, and the cloud devastatingly white and outrageously fluffy.

It makes you stop a second and look a little longer.
Because you can.
You see so much and from a different set of eyes basically.
Things are happening around you that you never knew took place.
I mean, was his eyes always that bright, shocking, blue?
I never had noticed before.

And that's what photography does.
It makes you stop a second and look a little longer around you.
It makes you noticed things you didn't know before.
It makes you appreciate flaws, and appreciate perfection.
It changes the way you see things, and I love it.

It helps you develop from the negatives.

Another common thing about being able to see 20/20 and photography,
is that you didn't know how to look another way or change your view until you can see with 20/20 vision or you can see things differently in the Camera's Lens and photo frames.
You're ignorant and don't know how much better things can look,
until you get a different shot, perspective, or view.
