Thanksgiving Week

Well here are a few updates:

Friday, my mind was blown by Breaking Dawn 2. Blown. I loved it. We also went shopping in Bealls before hand, and then went to Dairy Queen after it with the friends we went with. I loved it. Every moment. It was quite infinite. :)

Saturday, the Ball was a Ball. :) I had a fun time in my grey sparkly dress and dancin like all maniacs should dance.

Today, is the usual Sunday.

And now, the crux of the matter. Thanksgiving week. :) It's going to be busy but fun busy. I will let you know how it's going to go down. I don't know how often I will be blogging or catching up on other people's blogs but if I have the time I will. I just thought I'd share with you my Thanksgiving plans and why I love it just in case I don't get the chance to tell you about it while it's happening.

MONDAY: Monday, I have school unfortunately. :P However, its the last school day before break! WOOPIE! Then afterwords I'm going Thanksgiving shopping for the turkey, pie ingredients, all such lovely things. :) I'll also probably be giving a sum of life in pictures post.

TUESDAY: Tuesday, I'll be going to the Neurologist. I'll be hooked up to wires for 48 hours. I'm allowed to bring it home with me but I'm not allowed to do anything active really. Therefore, I probably will be working on some of my Christmas gift making. Because I'll have time.

WEDNESDAY: I'll still be hooked up to wires, but the day should be slightly more fun because I'll be pie making for Thanksgiving. This day is totally dedicated to dips, pies, and goodies and of course test tasting. :) And fun memories created by our girl time moments within our family. Oh and in the evening, hopefully, hopefully, I'll be able to go to a Chili dinner that is annually held at our church. I don't know if I will be able to due to the wires and minimal movement command, but i'm hoping since its just a dinner that my parents will allow me to go. I'll be sitting down at a table, not really moving around much.

THURSDAY:  IT'S THANKSGIVING. I'll be getting my wires taken out(Thank goodness :) ! And then there's an annual Thanksgiving Soccer Game we go to in the morning. Afterwords, we come home. Help prepare a bit. Then we'll watch the Macy's Day Parade. :) And then finally, we'll have our friends and family over eat traditional meals and mouth watering desserts and have fun with games and talking afterwords. Food consisting of: Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Rolls, Avocado Dip, French Onion Dip, and Chips. Desserts: Sweet Potatoe Pie, Pumpkin Dump Cake, Apple Pie, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Pumpkin Pie, Snow Bread, Surfer Bars, and probably more but that's all I can remember as of now.

FRIDAY: We always have an annual after Thanksgiving Day Softball game. :) It's a real hit. ;) heehee. See what I did there?

SATURDAY: We put up our tree, trim our tree, get our annual new ornament of the year, listen to Christmas music, and then eat leftover pie and sip hot chocolate while we watch Rudolph the RedNosed Reindeer and Whitey the Snowman ( A hilarious, old, black and white cartoon film).

This is our Holiday Thanksgiving Tradition. :)
Do you have one?
Please do tell.
I love hearing about them!

  1. We don't have a lot of traditions, because I'm related to musicians, and when that happens, you just play everything by wing. lol :D So I never know just how things are going to go, but pretty frequently, they go really well, we had our family thanksgiving today and it was awesome!
love the pictures, of course <3
Hope your week goes well and as planned!
