Can You Take a Minute

And appreciate someone today? Can you find someone out there and make sure they know how much you appreciate them. If you're feeling extra cheery and happy and loving you can even tell more than one person how much you appreciate them. :)  I'm just saying this because sometimes I feel like we live in our own little worlds and sometimes answer harsher than we mean to and shrug off things more often than we mean to and we never stop and realize it or the importance of letting someone know they are appreciated. And life's too short for that. I know this, but I keep forgetting this. And I don't want to keep forgetting this. I don't want to forget about the people I know of or heard of who have commited suicide and apparently didn't feel appreciated enough. I don't want to forget the people who were lost to a tragic accident and who's family wish they had them alive and still in their keeping to love and appreciate and hold close. I don't want to forget the family who never knew that they would lose their baby or loved one at that time, at that second, in that day and to that certain way of death.

 But I do forget. ..

I get wrapped up in me sometimes.

So, today I want to do some unwrapping of me in my life.
Will you take a moment and do the same?

So to wrap this up, I want you all to know that I appreciate you as well.
I appreciate that you read my blog posts.
I appreciate your postive feedbacks and lovely hearts.
I appreciate what I've learned and gotten to know about you all through your blogs.
I appreciate you and if you ever wondered if anyone would be sad if you died, they would.
I would.
I would miss you and your blogs and your words and your thoughts and your hearts.
I really, really would.
You do make a difference,
And I appreciate you for it.
Keep making a difference.

Keep spreading the love.

  1. What an inspirational post. You know what you've inspired me to do? The rest of this week, I am going to let a different person each day know just how much I appreciate them. Thank you as always for the inspiration Sophie!

  6. Your writing pulled me in right away. This is so true how we get caught up in ourselves. We don't say I love you enough or tell people how much they really do matter. Thanks for this reminder. Glad I came across your blog and looking forward to more posts. :)

  7. Sometimes words like, "Thanks" or "I love you" can just make someone's day. A quick hug, a friendly punch on the shoulder (Okay, that's weird, but it's what my sister's and I do. It's like, "hey!" *punch* "I missed you!")

Josh Groban's "You are Loved" would be the perfect song to go with this post. :)
