C o u r a g e
A Brave Word.
Dressed Up In Proper Clothes,
Chin
High
with Dignity and Respect.
R E S P E C T
A word with meaning.
A word everyone would like to obtain.
A word that people usually do not obtain when they try too hard to obtain it.
P E R S Pective
A peculiar word.
Full of dares, and ever changing views.
A word, that makes, you, stop, and, take, pauses.
More.
---
Pauses.
---
More.
Stop.
Take.
Pauses.
Think.
Of words.
Think of.
What They.
Mean.
To.
You.
If they have no meaning...give them meaning.
Write their stories, backgrounds, histories, and give them their own fingerprints.
Today is a Day of Random, Posibilite, and Chance.
So let it all go and happen and flow and keep an open mind and heart.
Call places home, look for smiles, and give the World a bright light to look up to.
Whatever you had so intricately planned for today, let it go.
Be spontaneous.
Yes, now that is a beautiful word.
Forget words like reason and rhyme.
Let your imagination fly.
Let your words write themselves.
let the ink drop off the page and into your soul where it spreads
let it dwell there until it blossoms and the dandelions become wild and bright.
let it dwell there until it blossoms and the dandelions become wild and bright.
because everything is better when it's wild and bright
but still smart.
and still classy.
stay smart,
stay classy,
stay young.

Goodness gracious, Sophie. This is completely breath-taking. You're just a poet--understanding what life really means. And there's not much else to say but that.
ReplyDeleteYou're just so mature for your age:) I often think the things you just wrote (but my thoughts are nowhere near as organized as yours) and sometimes I get down about *stuff* but then sometimes I get unexplainably content in this wonderful world I'm living in:) Mostly I'm the latter though.
ReplyDeleteI should design a "poster" or something with some of these words, is that alright? I'll credit you for it, of course:)
"If they have no meaning...give them meaning.
ReplyDeleteWrite their stories, backgrounds, histories, and give them their own fingerprints."
Oh, so true! I know I've spent a lot of my time waiting for other people to give meaning to words, instead of doing it for myself. Then, God showed me how to do it myself,or how to see the meaning that was already there and how to share it.
It's amazing the difference that it makes. Such a small change to how you think about things, but it makes a big impact!
This is a reeeeeeeeeally good post by me. =)
"let the ink drop off the page and into your soul where it spreads
let it dwell there until it blossoms and the dandelions become wild and bright." <--- Lovin' that phrase too! <3 Always liked dandelions . . . =)

P.s. I totally agree with Michelle and Eli too! Your writing shows that you don't just skim the surface of things. You think about things and let them affect you. And then you tell about it!! =D
Yeah. =)
