Happy Thanksgiving!
Be thankful for full stomachs, laughter in your tummy, shoes on your feet, blue in the sky, even the tears that occasionaly creep in your eyes. Be thankful for the people who made you toughen, the people who made you soften, the people who inspired you, and the people who gave you incentive to be a nicer person. Be thankful for the dogs, or the cats, or the pet rocks that stood by your side or made you deaf by their barks or shed their like crazy making you a tinsy bit frustrated from time to time. Be thankful for your turkey and go ahead and name it. I named mine Trisha. I always have to name my turkeys something that starts with a T. Last thing I want you to do is; love. That's the greatest accomplishment you can achieve in life. Loving isn't always easy, but it's always worth it. So love the right things and the wrong things. The ones who deserve it and the ones who don't deserve it. Love is the first step to being thankful. If you love everything, you'll find yourself thankful for everything.

You had a pet rock too??! 0.o I have this little booklet my friend found in her great-grandmothers house, "How to Train your Pet Rock" it's very amusing to read. =D Hadn't heard of anyone else who had heard of them though!
ReplyDeleteYep, we were very thankful for Tom, and he was delish...=P
I agree with Michelle, that it's true, the more we love the more we're thankful; felt it myself.
