Hey there, blogging folks. :)
Lately, I've been taking my free time to come up with Christmas ideas.
I've done pretty well, if I do say so myself.
However, I'm having troubles with coming up with ideas for my sister.
You see, I don't want to get any store bought gifts this year.
I feel like that's what the Parents job is, to give them the store bought gifts they ask for a long with suprises.
But I want to be unpredictable and get them something they'd love but never thought to ask for. Because I'm on a budget and since I'm not the parent, I only give them one gift. So I want to make it a good one and a special one. I want them to be suprised and happy.
I was able to come up with unique and special gifts for all of em except one.
My sister Sylvia (age 13) is a horse fanatic. She loves all things that have to do with horses. So I've been trying and searching through pinterest in hopes to find any DIY horse creations or ideas that have to do with horses. But alas, I can't find any. Worst comes to shove, I suppose I'll try to find a crafty gift that isn't horse related but I really would looove it if anyone has a great craft(that isn't too cheesy and cheap but isn't too expensive either) to make. I'm willing to spend a lot of time on it. Cause she's worth it. So time isn't an issue, but too pricey or too easy and unoriginal is an issue.
If anyone has an idea, please please please let me know. :) I know it's kind of a hard thing to ask of you since I couldn't find any ideas online or come up with one on my own, but if you are brilliant minded and have an idea, I would appreciate feedback. My sister won't see this because she doesn't go online or have a facebook or anything. So, it's okay to comment on it with ideas. :) Thank-you all! If you don't have an idea, don't sweat it. I'll try to find something else. I just figured I'd try covering all my bases before moving on to a new idea.

My 13 year old sister is superly into horses too ;) I don't know if your sister has an American Girl Doll sized horse but a few months ago I helped my sister make a fitted quilted horse blanket that fastens with velcro in the front for hers. If you would be interested in this idea you can find my contact info at my blog and I could maybe email you some simple directions. No pressure though :) I hope you figure out something special :)

ReplyDeleteActually, I hope Prince Charming wants a photographer girlfriend, because that certainly what he'll get! But it's definitly a very unique wish. =D
