You see on Tuesday, I had a quest. It consisted of three items for three different groups.
1. To buy a Venti Latte from Starbucks (because I've never ordered one)- for myself.
2. To write a letter to Santa in Macy's(so my sisters could recieve a surprise letter from him) - for my little sisters.
3. To write notes(such as beauty isn't measured in mirrors or pounds, let the past make you better not bitter, and somebody is or will be lucky to have you) and leave them on the windshields of people's cars- for the public.
I was able to complete my quest, and have a lot of fun with it, The only downside is... it was only a few minutes afterwords when me and my friend had journeyed home that it started raining. Oh well.
The point was that the quest was still completed and that's all that mattered.
Have you been on a quest recently?
You should.
Think one up, grab a friend, and just do it.
My pictures still aren't working.
If they were, you'd be seeing me writing the letter to Santa and seeing a picture of documentation proof of me and that latte. (We connected very well.)
Oh well.
I also have some news.
I am going to be reallllly busy.
I know I usually say this,
but this time I mean it, mean it.
My last exam is on Thursday and after that, I'm going to be busy packing and preparing for our trip to North Carolina.
On Friday and Saturday,
I have two dance performances twice each day and a soccer game on Saturday.
Then, you see, we're leaving at 5 am on Sunday morning and driving down to N.C.
I may or may not have reception there.
Who knows.
Even if I do have reception, I may not have the time to write to you all.
You may see an unexpected surprise post once from me to catch you all up on what's been happening while I'm up there,
But that will probably be it.
It's going to be a time of relaxing, of snow, of small diners, of lit up places, of comfy cabins, of family time, christmas movie watching, and much more.
I'm excited. :)
And I think to myself...what a wonderful world.
Never ordered a Venti? :D dude. lol. They're the best. obviously. 'cause they're enormous. :D
ReplyDeleteI qould love to go on those kinds of quests. You're always so creative in your ways to brighten people's days!! <3

ReplyDeletehave a great time in North Carolina, make some snow angels for me ;)
xx
Hahaha, the "You're a blizzard, Harry!" picture almost made me blurt out laughing at work. You're going to get me in trouble, girl. Haha!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the quest you undertook is a most noble one. Even if the rain had other ideas. I love that you did that. What an encouragement you are!
I've never ordered a venti, either. So you're not alone. But now that you have ordered a venti, I'm the one who's alone. Dang it!
Hope you have a FANTABULOUS time in North Carolina! Take lots of pictures and hopefully you can upload them by the time you get back :)
I love that quest! And you'll get it done. :) It makes me want to think up one too. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time it sounds like you'll have! A grand adventure I think. :)
You've been awarded, friend! http://breathsmilesandtears.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-awards-ceremony.html

I'm not sure why the type is messed up, haha. I'm sorry!
