The birds always leave, they never stay in one place.
All of them.
As a unit.
No one ever thinks of staying put.

The colors like sliding down the sky when it rains.
It's their own personal Wet and Wild ride.
But it always goes away when the fun is over.

The typewriters all are broken.
They have the words human etched on every single piece of paper it prints.
The ink jammed in between the ribbon is made of melted glass.

The nail polish just wants to be left alone for once.
Its tired of being used only for beauty and not for character.

Don't tell me that gravity is scientific.
It's magical.

I don't know how many times a day I blink.
But I'm sure it's not as many times as the people who have tears in their eyes.

The world isn't green like the trees, blue like the sky, or white like the clouds.
Its all of it.
All of the colors and all of its absence.

Nothing fills void,
But void fills nothing.

There's dust in everyone's cabinets.
There are storms in everyone's head.

A Fool's Lament

You crawled through the barbed wires in your own set of shoes.
Now you're filthy and crying because you've been bruised.
What did you think would happen to you?
What did you think would happen to you?

Now you're drinking the coffee laid out in the sun,
While feasting your eyes on the damage you've done.
Drink not with haste.
Tell me; how does bitter taste?

You've grown a nerve instead of a brain,
Pointing fingers at me for your drops of rain,
Well, now your accusations are washed down the drain,
Because I am the dragon that you'll never slay.

So shrug off your filth and look me in the eye,
Who was the one who commited the crime?
What did you think the mirror would reveal?
What did you think the mirror would find?

Keep mourning over the buckets you fill with waste,
Now tell me, dear, how does bitter taste?

So, I have a few things I want to say. 1. This piece of writing has to do with some one who complains about the trials they are going through in life, even though they are the ones creating it. But yet they tend to point fingers at others instead of owning up to their problems. 2. This is not based on any life event, certain person, etc. I was listening to Mumford and Sons and their lyrics and kinda angry style of writing and music inspired me so I grabbed a pen and paper and just wrote this. 3. I apologize because I feel like lately I've just been sharing writings with you and not my thoughts or more photography or what's been going on in life. The truth is, I'm feeling a bit stressed out at the moment with school and life and trying to write good blog posts. I haven't felt inspired or motivated as of late because I haven't had time to. I feel like I'm rushing it. I do have lots to say, just not enough time to write about it. So, I'm going to take another break this weekend. However, on Monday when I come back to you all, I will fill you in on all the things taking place in my life right now. I also don't have College that day so hopefully, it'll be a more filled and inspiring post. :) Life is good. I'm happy. I just need a weekend of fun and relaxation.

In the meantime,
keep being awesome,
listen to mumford and sons,
love each other,
leave a lucky penny on the street when you get a chance so someone can have a lucky day,
 be happy.

My Lullaby

In the steam from your coffee cup is where you'll find me.
In the colors of the sunset; that's where I'll be.

In the arms of the hug you just embraced,
In the summer breeze kissing your face,
In the comfort that you find from place to place,
That's where I'll be.

'Cause darling no one should feel alone,
In the place they call their home.
So I will dry these weary bones,
I will dry these weary bones.

So if I'm not with you every single day,
Find the steam, the sun beams, the summer breeze...
And you'll find me.

You'll never be alone.
Because where you find comfort, you'll find home.

Once

I heard somewhere once; "survival is a roast you have to keep on carving and carving". When I was younger I used to move my chair in front of my bedroom window before I went to bed so that if someone tried to break in, they would trip and fall and that would give me enough time to go and alert my family. I think William Yeats is lucky to have the last name Yeats, and I think "He Wishes for the Cloth of Heaven" is one of his best poems. I have a picture from when I was eight and my hair was put in curlers and I was so excited because my hair was straight as a pin when I was young. Now, I don't need curlers. I used to watch the actors and actresses on the tv screens or see their pictures in magazines and think that they were so beautiful or so handsome and so lucky. I used to think in terms of I wish I looked like that and I wish I could do that. I thought they must be some of the happiest people on earth to get to do their passions, the things they love, and be beautiful or handsome and have everyone look up to them. Now I feel sorry for them because in most cases, this isn't the truth. Because a lot of them starve themselves because they don't think their beautiful. And people criticize them and judge them. And they don't feel happy and they may even be losing their passion. I feel sad for them and sad because I thought I wanted to be them but I don't. And people don't always have the life that the tv screen makes it look like they have. I really wish I could let them all know that they are worth something though and their life matters and they're beautiful. I feel happy for the ones who really do have a happy and confident life not ruined by the negative people in the world. This may seem weird but sometimes we are going to need a bigger boat. I think the guy from Jaws was right.  Also, life isn't paved on streets of concrete. For some reason the Peter Pan quote, the one that goes like this; "You know that place between sleep and awake? The place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I will aways love you. That's where I will be waiting", it makes my heart hurt sometimes. But it's a beautiful quote. I've always loved the rain. But back then I used to jump in the puddles instead of step over them.

Cooking? Who Knew?

I've gotten a sudden inspiration to cook.

To cook an actual meal.

I need suggestions. I want it to be healthy but yummy.

It's going to be a surprise.

I'm going to cook dinner for my family.

But I need suggestions and recipes.

Anyone got any good but not difficult at all recipes you would like to suggest?

I also have the strong urge for a makeover. Because I want to switch things up a bit.

But I really have no earthly idea how to go about that.

So,
unless I find some one to give me one, I'm probably going to stick to the way I look now.

Which is fine.

I just like change sometimes.

And my hair is being difficult as of late.

One last thing,
 In case you haven't noticed,
my blogger has been having a glitch again with uploading *ANY* new pictures.
The only ones I have access to are pictures from previous blog posts.

So for the past couple of weeks, I've just been reusing an old photo here and there.

I try to pick ones from my earlier blog posts because I figured that most of you probably haven't seen those because I was a newbie and it took me a while before I got it all figured out and got a few followers.

Okay, that's all. <3

I Promised

So here's my update on College life and classes and the such.

Let's start with my first class: Government.

SO far, it's boring. To put it nicely. And my teacher sounds like she has a permanently sore throat. And she's constantly drinking tea which is sort of ironic since it sounds like she would need tea to soothe her throat but in reality, her throat is fine it just sounds a bit squeaky and she just likes tea. She's a nice lady though and I like her. I just don't like Government. Also, this girl with purple tips in her hair is in that class and I reference her as Purple Hair Girl.

Next class: Anatomy and Physiology.

Guess what? Purple Hair Girl  is in this class too. We don't talk so I don't really know anything about her or wether she's nice or not, I just like her hair. Also, my professor is awesome and she talks in a monotone voice but she makes jokes all the time and she's really funny. She also references movies 24/7. I also like the subject matter.

Next next class: Humanities.

My favooorite. The professor is a nice guy and he reminds me of how I imagine Charlie's English teacher to be from Perks of Being a Wallflower. Ironically, he used to teach English. I actually enjoy his class and he talked about Van Gogh and gave interesting facts about Starry Night which I love. And he's not boring. Also, a girl sits next to me who has the same bag as me and she has the same sense of style that I do so i think that is neat. She sits next to this kid named Ronald but he goes by Ronnie and that's all I really know about him but I think it's cool because I've never met anyone named Ronald.

Class after that: Anatomy and Physiology Lab.

Boring. The teacher is nice but she is very quiet. And she gives a lot of breaks and I sit by two quiet people. So all in all, there really is nothing worth mentioning.

Last class I'm taking: Speech.

I actuallllly like it. :) My teacher is nice and the class is... dare I say... fun so far. There's a lot of group activities and I like group activities. I got to meet a lady addicted to tatoos, a guy who has been to a Japanese Tea ceremony and I got complimented on my Perry the Platypus shirt by a cute guy that looks my age.

I also met this guy named Tin who keeps needing to borrow my phone after classes to call his parents for a ride home. He's afraid of acorns and he's funny. That's about all of the excitement and info that I can think of to give you. All, in all, I like my classes and am happy about em. Even the boring ones because boring is better than having it be terrible and awful.

I apologize if this was a boring post but i thought i'd catch you up on my school adventures. I took a break this weekend from blogging and checking other people's blogs partly because i was busy and partly because I needed a break. I spent the weekend playing soccer, going to the beach, sipping a tropical smoothie, visiting a chinese market, going to church, swinging on a hammock, and the such. It was a nice weekend. I hope yours was too.

What I've Been Thinking About

Just recently I came up with a few ideas in my head that popped out of nowhere.I think I shall share them with you. I'll also share with you other tidbits and stuff I found out or am doing.

1. For February I have decided to make it a goal to take a self portrait a day. I don't know how this will turn out but for the most part, I'm really bad at coming up wiyh creative self portraits. They all look very similar. So, this way, I was hoping I'd be challenging myself and forcing myself to get better and more creative. :)

2. I've decided that I need to have a late night Taco run with one of my friends sometime. Probably not until summer due to College, but honestly, I've never done this before and I feel like it just needs to happen.

3. I feel like I should also spend some more time with my younger sisters. So, I was thinking of having a "spa" day. I think they'd enjoy it and we can rock out to Taylor Swift music or something while we're painting nails or something and watching Disney movies. Because sometimes we all need to release our inner child and have unwraveling days anyways.

4. I'm going to completely renovate my room. Right now it has a bunch of drawings and cards and notes given to me throughout the years, and I love it, but my walls seem really clattered. Also, I need to clear some of the little nick nacks on my dresser too because as much as I love them, i feel like a horder. And I feel like I should put up more photos and artsy stuff in there instead. I think this is a summer project.

5. I came across this; http://www.abeachcottage.com/ and it's so cute and inspiring! So, i thought I'd share that with you.

6. I've been thinking about Summer a lot and I'm getting excited for it. I think I'll create a Summer list of things to do but I suppose I shall hold off till we're closer to Summer.

7. My classes all have been going well, and I'm going to describe my SPC adventures to you but I'll wait until Monday to do that because I haven't taken my last class yet which is later today and i might not have time to write about it over the weekend.

8. Speaking of the weekend, I have to get up really early tomorow to go to Palm Harbor for a 9:00 am soccer game. We have to be there at 8:15 am. I live in Seminole. Joy.

9. I'm going to the beach today. I'm excited because I haven't been since September which is a long time when you live in sunny FL. :)

20. I've been trying to eat healthier but yesterday I had a mini pizza for lunch with Lime tostitos and I had a small snickers bar and reeses cup. And speghatti for dinner. OH well, I'm going to pretend that all of that was healthy. :P

So my sister was assigned to write a story for school. She decided to write about me and my dog and I think I pretty much have the best sister ever and I don't think she'll ever know how much that meant to me and I just adore her.

That's about it. If I find other goals, I'll make them. But sometimes I realize I have really good ideas or plans but I never go through with them and make them happen. This year, I'm hoping to change that. :)
