You Clicked your Heels and wished for Me...

It's Thursday night in which I am writing this.
I have a lot on my mind...
I'm tired.
It's 11:24 pm.
I should sleep.
But I won't.
I'll get to do that soon enough.
Right now I'm reveling in my good mood and dreams.
I'm dreaming about small diners with twinkling lights and catchy music.
Some day I'm going to go to a cozy all night diner and enjoy the presence of it.
I'll probably have a cup of coffee or two.
I might read a book while I'm there and I have hours to spare.
I'm also thinking about when I get an apartment some day.
I think every now and then I will order chinese food and watch the News channel.
Because I don't do either of those things right now but it seems appropiate to do them when I get an apartment.
I also want to travel.
I also wish real hobbits existed like Sam and Frodo and Merry and Pippin.
Because I love them and wish the actors were really the characters and that i could meet the characters and give them hugs because they make me happy and because they're so sweet and I want to be friends with them.
And they make me cry occasionally.
I also want to fall in love and be caught when I fall in love.
I also want to quit taking wrong turns and wrong directions.
I'm also too tired to think things through.
Good morning by the way, since it's morning in which you are probably reading this.
Go get yourself some pancakes, and relax, it's Friday.

Today is the last day of November. Make it count.
Make it matter.
Give it a Proper Farewell.
Write it a letter.
Give a hug to some one who looks like they need it.
And tell that lady who looks kind of stern and cranky but is probably just like you only having a bad day that she is beautiful.
Because those kind of things matter more than you probably think they do.
They probably cure more bad days than you think they would.
And even if that lady doesn't say thank you or even if she denies it and walks away,
she probably appreciated it more than you will ever know.
Alright, that's enough now.
Off you go.
You've got some adventure to go on,
an act of kindness to do,
a story to tell,
people to inspire.

Lay asleep your fallen hopes,
Keep on pulling your cut off ropes.
Run with the sleeping sheep,
Don't drown yourself in a pool too shallow to be deep.
Don't keep count of all the things you've lost,
Or you'll find yourself in the debt of higher costs.
Set sail to the sea of meaning,
Close your eyes to the smiles dimly beaming.
Listen to no one, but listen to me,
Don't listen to Anyone or Anything.

Thats all I got today.
Sometimes I write about things that make no sense.
Also, sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be loved.
If I'll ever fall in love with someone who loves me as much as I love him.
I suppose I got time to find out.
But I wonder.
Because sometimes I feel like it won't happen.
Because I'm too awkward and weird.
But I'll keep waiting.
I'll keep waiting while time passes.
Because thats the way time works.
You wait.
It keeps going.

A Little Bit of my Life

Hello my lovely friends. :)
I thought I'd catch up with you and let you know the exciting events that have taken place in my life. It's been busy, and it's going to be real busy.
That's life.
But I have the time right now to let you all know what I've been up to, and for the most part it's been fun stuff.
So, naturally, I'm excited to share these with you all. :)
Well, I told you about my warm Thanksgiving and then me getting sick and then the decorating and putting up of our tree. Those events occured from Thursday- Saturday.
On Sunday, we went to Church. Then after church my sister Gracie and my friends Austin and Cody, were all just hanging around. We impromptuly(my made up word that I use from time to time), decided to go to a local diner called Savory's for lunch. It was loads of fun and something we haven't done in ages. I think the fact that it was out of the blue made it the most exciting. Then in the afternoon, I got to shoot some pictures of my friend's son Hunter. He was adorable. <3 It was a great time and the weather was sooo pleasant. After that, our family and our best friend Austin went down to a place called John's Pass and walked their boardwalk and looked at small touristy shops and places all lit up with lights. We stopped into a confection store where they basically had anything and everything dipped in chocolate (belgian waffles, bacon, pistachios, bananas, EVERYTHING.) I got a cup of coffee, which was sort of crappy, but I didn't care because it was cold outside and I needed it. It was a picture perfect day. :)
On Monday, the day part was pretty boring. I went to my College classes, came home and wrote a paper. But then I had some leftover time in the day to work on some more Christmas presents, and watch some Survivor with my Daddy. Also, when my Mom came home that evening from working out, we decided to take a walk in a nearby neighborhood. The weather was cold, the houses were traditionally lit with christmas trees in the windows, and it was perfect. It was a nice way to de-stress considering all the assignments piled up for the last two-three weeks of College semester.
Tuesday wasn't all that eventful; I had school, more Christmas present making, and soccer practice.
And we'll see what's in store for today. :)

I bet that felt really good.
Smashing that plate.
I'd like to do that for fun.

So, i would have shown you pictures from my weekend but weirdly it won't let me upload my photos to here. :( I'm sorry. If I ever figure it out, I'll upload them.

How has your week been?
Right now, I want to have a random dance party with myself and good music.
But instead I'm sipping a hot cup of tea and making art.
That's pretty cool too though, I must admit.

Close your Eyes

Close your eyes,
Sleep away your tears.
Close your eyes,
Dream away your fears.
When you come back,
I'll still be here.
When you come back,
I'll still be here.
Let the Storm be a Lullaby.

Keep crawling in blankets too big for you to hold.
Keep picking roses that bleed with their sharp teeth.
Keep fingering the waves in your hair,
Keep pretending that I'm not here.
Keep your promises, not your lies.
Keep your hellos, not your goodbyes.

Exhale words through your fingertips.

Try it.

Fly Me to the Moon

Hey All. :) Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their break. I enjoyed mine.
Now, I have time to read through all of your blogs. And I'm feeling better.
And inspired. :D
I was thinking I really want to have a photoshoot themed series. Where I take pictures of different people in various places, with their arms outstretched to the sky.
It'd be called the Freedom series.
I'd also like to have a themed photoshoot series of people with numerous little lights. Candles, Christmas Lights, Lightbulbs, and all. I'd use so many of them and use the contrast of the dark and the lights surrounding the people and it'd be called the Hope series.

I hope this happens some day.
And then, if i'm lucky, I'll start a Coffee Cup series. I'd call it Writer's Block series though. And everyone would be sitting at different places, like diners, fast food places, quaint villages, with a pen or pencil tucked behind their ear or in between their fingers and an empty or full or half full cup of coffee next to them. Or even in their mouth. And there might be more than one coffee cups for the ambitious and really desperate writers. This would be amazing. I hope I can do these some day.
I think I've also found a knack for making mixed cd's for people. Like seriously.

And waited for a new one to begin. Because new can be good, it really can. :)

Don't waste time counting the minutes in your life. Waste time doing stupid things like loving and smiling because in time you might find them to be worth it. And in time you might find that it's not such a stupid thing to do at all.

Under the Weather

Hey all. :) I had a great Thanksgiving! How bout you? Everything seemed to sort itself out and fall into pieces.
Unfortunately, I woke up yesterday at 4:00 am hacking and coughing nonstop. As soon as I could, I went to the walk in clinic and found out that I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. This was unfortunate. :/ However, I'm on antibiotics, inhaler, and steroids. So, I should start to be feeling better on Sunday I was told. Nevertheless, I've still been enjoying my week off with family and friends. We watched the Santa Claus last night and today we're still having a few friends over to help decorate our Christmas tree and then watch Rudolph and Whitey the Snowman with us as we sip hot cocoa and finish up some leftovers.
In the in between time, I'll be sleeping and resting and taking medication. haha. I'm sorry, because I feel like I've been neglecting you all. I'll try to catch up as soon as I can. And if i miss a few days of blogging myself, its probably because im busy or sleeping and trying to recover.
Love to you all<3

Happy Thanksgiving!

Be thankful for full stomachs, laughter in your tummy, shoes on your feet, blue in the sky, even the tears that occasionaly creep in your eyes. Be thankful for the people who made you toughen, the people who made you soften, the people who inspired you, and the people who gave you incentive to be a nicer person. Be thankful for the dogs, or the cats, or the pet rocks that stood by your side or made you deaf by their barks or shed their like crazy making you a tinsy bit frustrated from time to time. Be thankful for your turkey and go ahead and name it. I named mine Trisha. I always have to name my turkeys something that starts with a T. Last thing I want you to do is; love. That's the greatest accomplishment you can achieve in life. Loving isn't always easy, but it's always worth it. So love the right things and the wrong things. The ones who deserve it and the ones who don't deserve it. Love is the first step to being thankful. If you love everything, you'll find yourself thankful for everything.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve

So, it turns out I do have time to blog! Yay!
I wasn't sure I would. But since I've been stuck at home, I really haven't been that busy.
I worked on a few Christmas gifts but that was about it.
Today, though, is pie making day.
I very much appreciate this day. :)
Other side topics: The song Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners is a really catchy song.
Also, Les Miserables. The movie. I can'twaittoseethisimliterallyfreakingoutoverthetrailerohmygosh.
It's always been my favorite musical, so naturally I was pysched when I heard they were making a movie out of it.
And naturally I was pysched when I saw the casting because I mean, who wouldn't be.
And naturally I freaked over the trailer because it's so darn perfect and beautiful and gives me chills.
Lastly, I've gotten some sort of blue feeling sinking in. Probably because I'm tired and because my friend doesn't want to be my friend anymore. But I'm also keeping my chin up because Thanksgiving is tomorow and because I'm thankful for the friends I do have, my puppy, my family, the fact that my older sister is at home all of this week, the fact that we can play cards together and watch Edward Scissorhands, thankful that I can make yummy pies with my sisters, thankful that I can laugh. Because what would this world be if one couldn't laugh? I'm glad I can laugh.

Now, I'm going to leave you with a fluffy dog, a kind word, and a maginificent camera. (is if such another kind could exist)

I need to practice the art of grace more.
I should start following the example of my Teacher.
I'm thankful for His grace, His love, His blood that paid my sins and washed them away.
Be thankful. :)
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I swear, I'm so attractive right now guys.
Like you can't even fathom this level of attractiveness.

My Busy Life Somewhat Captured in Pictures

I always make weird faces when people take pictures of me.
Oh gosh.

I'm taking joy in life. Like joy in weird pictures. Finding joy in dancing in the kitchen in my neon mixmatched socks listening to a playlist I created. Having joy in a day off of College and spending it coming up with Christmas ideas and buying people gifts or supplies to make gifts. Having joy in two cups of Coffee. Having joy in Peppermint ChickFila Milkshakes. Having joy in Christmas decorated stores. Having joy in classical music. Having joy in the promising upcoming Thanksgiving break. Having joy in deciding on my major (English) finally. Having joy in good friends and laughter. Having joy in partaking in a Secret Santa. Having joy in campfires and hot chocolate. Having joy in teaching some one how to douggy. Having joy in the freedom of no school. Having joy in scoring a goal. Having joy in Breaking Dawn 2 and infinite moments. Having joy in Thanksgiving day Turkey shopping. Having joy in getting to do what I love; writing and photography.
Oh there are joys out there.
Find them.
Hug them.
Love them.

(I'm sorry, I've been doing a bad job on checking up on people's blogs. I'm going to try to find time to do that later today once I get back from my college classes, and Thanksgiving shopping.)
